WILLIAM BAILEY LEADS TRACK AND FIELD PENN RELAYS

(PHILDELPHIA, Pa.)  The Lady Bulldogs 4x1 team competed on Thursday at Penn Relays. They placed 6th in there heat with a time of 49.24. The women also competed in the 4x4 relay and placed 7th in their heat. The Lady Bulldogs also put a 4x2 team on the track and ran a 1:44.56 putting them in 6th place in their heat. Brandy Peat and Ayanna Tweedy competed in the College Women's Shot Put. Brandy threw the shot put a distance of 11.91m (39-1) and Tweedy followed up with a throw of 9.87m (32-4.75)

Senior Demetrius Barkley ran a fast 400m Hurdle race, in the College Men's Championship section with a time of 55.99 placing 5th in his heat. Running in the same heat as Barkley, Anthony Kiser and Oluwatobi Owolabi placed 7th and 8th in running 58.40 and 59.31 respectively.

Bryan Williams competed in the college triple jump in the Eastern Division at Penn Relays. He placed 16th with a jump of 13.93m (45-8.5). William Bailey had a great day in the long jump. Bailey placed 3rd with a leap of 7.15m (23-5.5). Jonathan Harper also faired well in the long jump placing 11th jumping 6.78m (22-3). Also competing in the field was Collin Cumberbatch. Cumberbatch threw the Shot Put 13.05m (42-9.75).The weekend concluded with the Men's team running the 4x1 placing 7th in their heat with a time of 42.41.
