WOMEN'S RESULTS

(BOWIE, MD)  Bowie State University hosted the first of two home cross country meets, placing second overall in the 5K women's division.  Virginia State University was the overall winner with 19 points, followed by BSU (42), Columbia Union College (70) and St. Paul's College (79).

Virginia State's Sierra Clayton crossed the finish line first with a time of 21:35 followed by Bowie State's Shamika Patton (21:46).  Raphela Garris, Shanise Lewis and Charlene Hymon, all of Virginia State, finished third, fourth and fifth respectively with times of 21:57, 23:08 and 23:21.

BSU's Lady Bulldogs were also represented by Michelle Palmer (7th place - 23:42), Elaine Rhoades (9th place - 24:08) and Christina Rowles (10th place - 24:21).
