(HAMPTON, Va.)  Junior Shalai Tabor (Waldorf, MD, Delaware State Univ.) and second-year head coach Darrell Toney were honored the this week as the CIAA Offensive Player and Coach of the Week respectively.

Tabor had six hits, four home runs and nine RBI in six games between March 31 and April 3.  Tabor currently leads the CIAA in homeruns (13) and also ranks first conference hits (49), runs (42), RBI (43), triples (6) and total bases (109).

Toney guided the BSU Lady Bulldogs to their third straight CIAA Eastern Division Title. Bowie State is 8-0 division, 13-1 conference, and 19-18 overall.
