(RALEIGH, NC) Fayetteville State finished the weekend-long CIAA Bowling Roundup in first place with both the best record and most total pins. Bowie State finished second in the 12-team field which competed at the AMF Capital Lanes.
Over the three days, FSU finished with a 16-2 record and 14,909 pins. Bowie State finished in second with a 15-3 record, and Elizabeth City State was third, finishing 14-4. Shaw finished in seventh with a 7-11 record.
FSU's Jessica Styers finished as the top individual bowler with a 188.6 average over 12 games. Bowie State junior
