WOMEN'S RESULTS
(RICHMOND, VA) Bowie State University's women placed in the middle of the pack at a Mid-Season Challenge hosted by Virginia Union University. The Lady Bulldogs came in third overall in the six team field and were led by
Shamika Patton (Frederick, MD, Frederick) and
Michelle Palmer (Oxon Hill, MD, Oxon Hill).
Patton was a 5th place finisher, coming in at 21:26.5 and Palmer claimed 6th with a time of 21:57. BSU's
Christina Rowles (Oxon Hill, MD, Oxon Hill) finished in the 11th postion (23:12.9), while teammates
Tonya Walton (Indian Head, MD, Lackey) and Angelique Henderson placing 17th (24:38.08) and 20th (25:16.4) respectively for the Lady Bulldogs.
Towson (Md.) University will be the host of Bowie State's next cross country event - Friday, October 3rd.
