MEN'S FINAL RESULTS
(RICHMOND, VA) The Bowie State University men placed first in the Virginia Union University Mid-Season Challenge.
Daryl Sanders (Upper Marlboro, MD, DeMatha) was the first Bulldogs runner to cross the finish line, placing third overall with a time of 29:18.0.
Malcolm Womack (Forestville, MD, Eleanor Roosevelt) and
Joshua Legare came in 6th and 7th respectively with times of 31:14.8 and 31:17.8.
Santiago Ennis also placed in the top ten, placing 9th with a time of 31:33.8 over the 5.1K course.
Other Bowie State student-athletes to run the course were
Damien Montgomery (Baltimore, MD, Woodlawn ) - (13th - 32:05.3),
Michael Wallace (Medford, NY) (14th - 32:29.5),
Walter Morton (Lanham, MD, DuVal) (19th - 33:18.0),
David Rustin (Laurel, MD, Laurel) (21st - 35:06.5) and
Joel Lavella (Hyattsville, MD, DeMatha) (26th - 38:58.2).
The next meet for Bowie State will be Friday, October 3rd at the Towson (Md.) Invitational.
