COMPLETE RESULTS

(SAN ANGELO, Texas)  Bowie State representatives, sophomore Elaine Rhoades (Norfolk, VA, Booker T. Washington) and junior Aaron Johnson (Temple Hills, MD, Oxon Hill) returned home with sixth place finishes at the 2009 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships hosted by Abilene Christian University.

COMPLETE RESULTS

(LYNCHBURG, Va.)  Sophomores Lakesha Carney (Hampton, VA, Denbigh) and Jamin Gallman (Baltimore, MD, Baltimore Polytechnic) led the Bowie State contigency at the Liberty University Twilight Qualifier.
4.25.2009 | Men's Outdoor Track and Field, Women's Outdoor Track and Field
(PHILADELPHIA, Pa.)  Sophomore Aaron Johnson (Temple Hills, MD, Oxon Hill) competed in College High Jump (Eastern Division) and placed second with a jump of 2.10m (6-10.75).  Freshman Michelle Palmer (Ft. Washington, MD, Oxon Hill) performed very well for the Lady Bulldogs.  Palmer participated in the women's 4x100, 4x200, 4x400 and Sprint Medley and according to Coach Latimer, was Bowie State's Outstanding Athletes on the women's side.

(BOWIE, Md.)  The Bowie State University women's and men's track and field teams will host the Moultrie Invitational - Wednesday, April 8th at 12 noon on the BSU Track.  Participating teams include City College of New York (Brooklyn, N.Y.), Columbia Union College (Takoma Park, Md.), Saint Paul's College (Lawrenceville, Va.), the University of the District of Columbia, Virginia State University (Petersburg, Va.), Virginia Union University (Richmond, Va.) and host Bowie State University.

COMPLETE RESULTS

(CONWAY, S.C.)  Lakisha Carney (Newport News, Va., Denbigh) placed 5th in the women's Discus (40.80m) and 7th in the Shot Put (12.53m) and teammate Angelique Henderson placed 9th overall in the Long Jump (4.83m) to lead BSU's Lady Bulldogs in the opening outdoor track and filed meet of the season hosted by Coastal Carolina University.
