Bowie State University has a variety of facilites used in the course of intercollegiate athletic competion. Additional content will be provided on them in the future.
Leonidas James Physical Education Complex, home to the Athletic Department offices, is designed to accommodate students enrolled in physical education courses, as well as indoor intramural sports and intercollegiate athletic activities of the University. First occupied in 1973, this facility features a triple-court gymnasium and exercise room, eight raquetball / handball courts, and an eight-lane, 25-yard swimming pool (run by Student Activities). Spectator areas provide seating for 2,200 in the A.C. Jordan Arena and 196 in the pool area.
